Service Description

Join Fitness with Friends for a 9-week Program to train to run a 5K. The program is designed for beginner or non-runner men and women who have the desire to learn to run properly in a fun and safe group environment. Instructor Jenny K will take you through proper running technique and each in-person session will begin with a warm up, walk-run progression, body weight exercises and a cool down. In-person sessions will be held 1x a week on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:15pm at Mark Lane Field in River Vale starting on March 29th. Included in the program Fitness with Friends will provide you with two additional running workouts per week to do on your own and will culminate with the "Team" participating in the Tenafly 5K Run on June 5th. Running with a group is safer and definitely more fun and motivational. This is not a competitive program, but provides support and guidance so you can achieve success and a love for running! Fee is $230 and includes a Team FwF t-shirt for race day and Tenafly 5K Run race fee.
